More half a century carries out activity in the field of cartography and a geodesy. At the moment Center "Sevzapgeoinform" is one of the largest enterprises of the Northwest of Russia, engaged in digital cartography and processing of materials of remote sounding of the Earth (RSE).
The center has all necessary permissions and licenses in the field of cartography, geodesies and works with the data, making the state secret. Technologies and geoinformation systems (GIS) developed in Center "Sevzapgeoinform" are successfully applied at work, both the private companies, and government. Presence in staff more than 250 highly skilled experts in the field of a geodesy and cartography, territorial planning, data processing RSE and workings out GIS allow to consider as much as possible requirements and wishes of customers and to develop systems for effective and convenient work with the geospatial information.
In the Center highly specialized industrial divisions digital photogrammetriсal, digital mapping, working out GIS, sea cartography, the space information and navigation, topographical lining expedition and cartographical department function. Each of these divisions carries out the range of works.
